  • Responsibilities include:  Editorial oversight of shows, writing scripts, in the field stories, long-form journalism, creating touchscreen sequences, editing video, uncovering scoops and booking guests.

 

Major Achievements:

  • Developed international business news programming – a first for the station.

  • Exclusive interviews with industry leaders like AIG CEO Brian Duperreault and World Bank adviser Andreas Jobst.

  • Responsibilities included:  setting the editorial tone of shows, writing scripts, liaising with contacts, uncovering scoops, pitching, and producing. 

 

Major Achievements:

  • Week long specials in Thailand, Indonesia and Germany focused on each country’s unique economic challenges and opportunities. Interviews with Ministers resulted in exclusive and breaking news.  

  • 30 minute special on the Indonesian economy focused on infrastructure challenges, e-commerce and local startups. Ratings were double normal viewership.

  • One-on-one long form interviews with CEOs, CIOs, investment strategists, Prime Ministers, Ministers and central bank governors, etc. Interviews include WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell and the Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.

  • Part of a team awarded an Edward R. Murrow Award for continuous coverage of the Occupy Boston movement. Stories focused on individual Occupiers, the impact on the local economy, and overnight coverage of the final 24 hours of the Occupy Boston movement.

  • Long-form packages which followed patients through medical procedures, including breast cancer gene testing for a young woman who lost her mother to the disease, cutting-edge knee replacement surgery and a 17-year-old girl’s gastric bypass surgery.
